We’re located at 3111 W. Cary Street, across from Can Can in the heart of Carytown. The outside of our building is bright pink, so you can't miss us!

Does Carytown Cupcakes offer discounts for large orders?
Yes! One cupcake is $3.85, a half dozen is $21.9, and one dozen is $39.6. Orders of 6 dozen or more are $36 per dozen.

What cupcake flavors are available at Carytown Cupcakes?

ORDERING

Do you accept pre-orders for cupcakes?
We do! The easiest way to place an order is through our online system. Order here. We are also happy to help you place your order over the phone.

How far in advance should I pre-order cupcakes?
We recommend you place your pre-order 48 hours before you would like to pick it up. We do our best to accommodate orders placed in less time, but depending on the volume of orders already placed, we may or may not be able to fulfill your order. However, you are always welcome to walk in and choose from the selection we have in our shop.

Can I place orders for same day pickup?
Yes! If you’d like to place an order for same day pickup, simply call us.

Do I need to prepay for my order?
Yes, all pre-orders must be paid in advance. Corporate/recurring accounts may be placed on term on a case-by-case basis.

Does Carytown Cupcakes deliver?
We do! We offer delivery through UberEats for all orders under 6 dozen cupcakes.

Can I place an order for same-day delivery?
We require at least 24-hour notice for in-house deliveries, but you can place an order for same-day delivery through UberEats or Grubhub.

Does Carytown Cupcakes ship?
Currently, we only deliver to the local Richmond, VA area.

Am I able to order an off-menu flavor?
You can! If you love a flavor from a previous month, you may order it for your event. The minimum purchase of an off-menu flavor is 12 cupcakes. Order here.

Does Carytown Cupcakes make cupcakes for weddings?

Does Carytown Cupcakes offer rental tree stands/display pieces?
Carytown Cupcakes has a wide variety of cupcake and cake stands we rent out for bulk orders. Browse our tree stand/display selection.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! We offer both physical and digital gift cards. Please note: when we transitioned ordering systems, some physical gift cards didn't convert. If you are getting an error with your gift card code, please pay for your order, then contact orders@carytowncupcakes.com with your gift card number and we will refund the order for you!

PRODUCT INFORMATION

Does Carytown Cupcakes only bake cupcakes?
Cupcakes are our specialty and main focus, though we have been known to make some crazy concoctions from time to time :-). In addition to cupcakes, we also sell Nightingale Ice Cream Sandwiches and King of Pops popsicles.

Does Carytown Cupcakes offer vegan or gluten-free cupcakes?
Carytown Cupcakes does offer vegan cupcakes and gluten-free cupcakes. Please note that while we do take care to avoid cross-contamination, the same general prep area and ovens are used for all of our cupcakes, due to our small size.

Does Carytown Cupcakes offer sugar-free cupcakes?
We have not yet figured out a way to make an awesome tasting sugar-free cupcake, sorry!

Does Carytown Cupcakes sell nut-free cupcakes?
We provide many nut-free flavors. However, our kitchen is not nut-free. While we do take care to avoid cross-contamination, please note that the same general prep area and ovens are used for all of our cupcakes, due to our small size.

Does Carytown Cupcakes bake mini cupcakes?
Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to make mini cupcakes.

Does Carytown Cupcakes bake dog treats?
We do! We currently offer “pupcakes”.

How do I store my cupcakes?
We suggest that you refrigerate your cupcakes overnight and leave them at room temperature for 1 hour before serving. If you will be eating the cupcakes more than 24 after buying them, we suggest freezing them in an air-tight container until the day you serve them. To thaw the cupcakes, leave them at room temperature for 2 hours while still sealed in the air-tight container.

Does Carytown Cupcakes make charitable donations?
As a policy, we choose as a company to limit our charitable donations to organizations that specifically target pets' and childrens' causes, so as to make the greatest impact. Please email us at contact@carytowncupcakes.com to request a donation and be sure to include information about your organization, the event, and the specific donation/amount requested.
